Services are open and available for use by the general public, including persons with disabilities, within the local communities and the surrounding areas. WIT is especially suitable for the transportation disadvantaged, such as persons with disabilities and senior citizens.<\/p>\n
WIT also works with nursing homes, care centers, local rehabilitation agencies, and group homes.<\/p>\n
The service is intended to compliment other transportation services to the community.<\/p>\n
Rides can be arranged by\u00a0 contacting our main office at Region XII office in Carroll at (712) 792-9914. You can also submit your information using the ridership pick-up form<\/a>.<\/p>\n Rides must be scheduled by contacting the Carroll Office 24 hours in advance of the needed ride. Transit hours of service are Monday through Friday 7AM to 5PM.\u00a0 In-town service is $7.00 for a one-way ride and $14.00 round trip. Also, there is a $7.00 charge for each additional stop.\u00a0 Out of town trips are quoted on $1.75 per mile basis.
